SPECIAL NOTICE FOR VENDORS AND SUPPORTERS

It is with mixed emotions that we announce the resignation of our beloved Market Manager, Cindy Pratt, for the 2024 market season. After almost 10 years of dedicated service to our community, Cindy has decided to focus her time on her family, leaving behind a legacy of hard work, creativity, and passion for our Constance Bay Community Market (CBCM).

During her tenure, Cindy has played an instrumental role in shaping the CBCM into what it is today. Her commitment to excellence, attention to detail, and unwavering dedication to supporting local vendors have significantly contributed to the market's success. We are immensely grateful for her leadership and tireless efforts over the years.

The CBCM team would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Cindy for her outstanding contributions and wish her the very best in her future endeavours.

With Cindy’s departure, we are faced with the question of whether the continuity and success of the CBCM can be sustained. Your input and involvement will be paramount to fulfilling key roles. Whether you can offer your time, skills, expertise, or connections, every contribution, no matter how small, will make a meaningful difference. Volunteers, ideas, and resources will be needed to assist with:

  1. Interim Leadership: Fulfilling managerial responsibilities on an interim basis until a permanent replacement is found.
  2. Operational Support: Helping with day-to-day operations, including setup, coordination, and logistics during market days.
  3. Promotion and Outreach: Assisting with marketing efforts, social media management, and community outreach to ensure maximum visibility and attendance.
  4. Vendor Relations: Maintaining relationships with existing vendors, recruiting new vendors, and supporting safety and compliance of public health regulations to ensure a diverse and vibrant marketplace.
  5. Financial Management: Contributing expertise in financial planning, budgeting, and fundraising to ensure the financial health and sustainability of the market.

To gather interest in continuing the CBCM for 2024, please help us by completing this QUICK SURVEY.
